Description

The DBU-TTL Data Broadcast Unit is designed for use in receive only data broadcast applications. Examples of typical data broadcast applications are; Continuously updated public data displays and distribution of continuous data and clock signals to Terminals or receive only communication equipment. The DBU-TTL is especially suited for weather data distribution systems and radar data distribution.

The expanding role of V-SAT systems in receive only applications for real time data distribution is expected to increase dramatically over the next several years. The DBU-TTL is an excellent choice for applications of this type.

The DBU-TTL input port accepts standard TTL signals on a 50 Ohm or 75 Ohm connector, typically data and clock. The units output ports can support up to eight receive only terminals simultaneously on 50 Ohm or 75 Ohm connectors for data and clock distribution.

The DBU-TTL continuously broadcasts receive data and receive timing signals from the data source to the eight output terminal ports.

The DBU-TTL is housed in a sturdy aluminum enclosure and is supplied with an internal linear power supply. The unit has a 110/120 VAC rotary select switch located on the rear of the housing. The unit can operate on standard power found in all countries.

The DBU-TTL has a three year warranty and a 24 hour turnaround on warranty repairs.
