About East Coast Datacom, Inc

East Coast Datacom, Inc. is a customer oriented, high technology enterprise which was formed in 1994 to design, manufacture and support Wide Area Network Equipment. We manufacture the broadest line of Network Emulators in the network test equipment market supporting over 18 different interfaces for Serial, Telco and Ethernet.

For Ethernet, the WanRaptorâ„¢ Network Emulator allows users to test and stage critical network equipment adding network latency, loss, Jitter and re-ordering impairments. For Serial data and Telco the RDS-PLUS delay simulator is a modular, network link error and delay emulator that provides a realistic simulation of physical network behavior with respect to time delays and bit errors.

We also manufacture an extensive line of legacy network equipment critical to the military, government and Fortune 500 companies. These include data broadcast splitters, digital sharing devices, interface converters and many other network adapters. Our highly respected Sync2IP Converter is a unique solution for Sync data to IP conversion as we support any sync data protocol.

We hope you enjoy our collection of products we present on our web site. Keep in mind we can modify or design a new solution for your unique application.

East Coast Datacom, Inc., a Florida-based data communications accessory specialist, announces the Nx64-MUX, a 16 Port Time Division Multiplexer (TDM). The Nx64-MUX is a modular, 16 Port TDM multiplexer for serial data terminal equipment. It is designed to work in a paired, point-to-point configuration over a single synchronous composite link from 64Kbps to 2.048Mbps. The system may be configured with from 4 to 16 channel ports, operating at rates up to 38.4 Kbps asynchronous, or up to 768Kbps synchronous. The system is configured and managed by the user through an RS-232 COM port terminal interface to either a computer/laptop running a terminal emulation program, or a standard ASCII terminal.

The Nx64-MUX key user features include, Non-Disruptive Channel Allocation, Embedded HDLC Management Channel for remote configuration and control, Software Select Data Interfaces, Front Load Cards and an 85-264 VAC Power Supply.

The Nx64-MUX is the second generation TDM multiplexer released by East Coast Datacom, Inc. The Nx8-MUX was released in November 2002 with composite data rates of 8k to 128k.

The Nx64-MUX list price, fully loaded is $2725.00 US dollars with immediate availability.

ABOUT EAST COAST DATACOM, INC. (ECD)

ECD is a customer-oriented, high technology enterprise which was formed in 1994 to design, manufacture and support data communications accessories. Its product range consists of campus modems, sharing devices, converters, signal splitters and Router Delay Simulators which solve network connectivity problems in a cost-effective manner.

In addition to its regular product line, ECD offers product design services to meet customers' specific needs, with solutions ranging from adaptations of existing ECD products to the design and manufacture of completely new products, which cannot be found elsewhere. The company is able to develop prototypes within very short lead times and to provide competitively priced products even for short production runs.

By focusing on solutions, which other vendors are unable to achieve economically, ECD offers its customers a cost-effective approach to designing and operating their data communications networks.
